Come up with a fundraising idea
- If you have decided on what type of virtual fundraiser you want to hold, then you can jump straight to the next step. However, if you are in need of some inspiration, check out our virtual fundraising ideas here. There is something for everyone!
Set a date and get in touch
- Decide on a date and time for your fundraising event. We are here to help, so please do get in touch about your virtual fundraising plans and any questions you might have – give us a call on 020 7605 0100 or email fundraising@eveappeal.org.uk.
Decide where your virtual fundraiser is going to take place
- If you are taking on a challenge you could do this at home, in your garden or at your local park. If you are holding a virtual event, then we recommend using Zoom.
Set up a JustGiving page
- A JustGiving page is the perfect way to collect donations from friends, family, and colleagues without having to handle cash. You can set up your page easily by clicking here – just click ‘Fundraise for Us’.
Let everyone know about your fundraiser
- Whether you are holding a virtual fundraising event or taking on a virtual challenge, now is a great time to let friends, family and colleagues know. Tell them all about your virtual fundraiser and how they can support – and don’t forget to share your JustGiving page.
Maximise your fundraising
- Gift Aid – please check here to see if your donation is eligible for Gift Aid (so we can claim an extra 25p from the taxman for every £1 you’ve raised)

- Check out our fundraising guidelines on how to ensure your event is safe and legal.
