Lunch and Learn

The Eve Appeal’s Lunch & Learn sessions offer an opportunity to raise awareness of women's health, break down taboos in the workplace and provide a safe space for women and men to learn about gynaecological cancers and how they can take steps to protect the health of themselves or their loved ones.

One of our fantastic Ask Eve team, Gynae Specialist Nurse, Tracie Miles, or Cancer Information Officer, Karen Hobbs, will come along to talk to your team and run a fun, interactive session all about gynaecological health.

There are three different ways your business can ‘Lunch and Learn’. Pick from:

  1. A 30 minute virtual session – £500
  2. A one hour virtual session plus Q&A – £750
  3. A one hour in-person session plus Q&A – £1,000

We recommend starting with our ‘Let’s Talk Gynae’ session, as it’s a fantastic introduction to our key awareness messages around women’s health and gynaecological cancers, but we offer subsequent sessions that can develop the support of your staff depending on areas of interest. These can include focusing on the menopause, cervical screening, HPV, and gynae health across the generations.

A standard ‘Let’s Talk Gynae’ Lunch & Learn is broken down like this:

  1. Introduction to The Eve Appeal’s work
  2. Overview of the five gynaecological cancers
  3. For each of the cancers (womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal), the Ask Eve team will discuss:
    • How common is it?
    • What are the risk factors?
    • What are the signs and symptoms?
    • How can you protect yourself (screening, lifestyle, awareness)
  1. Summary and top tips
  2. Questions
